April 2008
Happy Spring!
Sorry, I have not been keeping up so well with the blog; between sick days and storm days, we haven't had much chance to get new work started!
Grade 8 Henry: We are finishing up the Teen Health Power Point projects. Those that took advantage of class time, did a great job. Given the amount of time you had to work on it, there would be no excuses for not being able to present it to your classmates this week.
Grade 6/7 PG: We started looking at the 40 Developmental Assets. I will finish these up the week of April 21, as I will be away on the 14th. Your supply teacher will be doing some activities on Time Management, which will include a week long assignment....Don't forget to work on it daily!
Grade 6 GG: We are pleased to have Cst. Corey Larsen coming in to finish the DARE program form last year. We appreciate Cst. Corey volunteering his time while he is on paternity leave with his new baby girl. Thank you!
It was good to see some of you during Parent Teacher Days. If you were unable to get in to see me, but still have concerns, please call me or email me!
