Id Ego Supergo!!!

people are getting this one mixed up a LOT!!
ID - part of your brain that is your instinct...I WANT FOOD NOW!!!
SUPEREGO- part of your brain that tells your morals...IT's WRONG TO STEAL FOOD!
EGO- The referee...NO, I won't steal, even though I am hungry, but I will wait until lunch time!

Know the High Five, be able to give examples from personal life, or family member, and how it relates to a future job YOU would enjoy. Go through the quizzes! Also, be able to relate these to the guest speakers!

Be able to tell a little about their job now, and related jobs that brought them to it. Be able to relate Gardiner’s Multiple Intelligences showing their strengths related to their field. Explain how Volunteer work helped them.



Tic Tac Toe...be able to relate your three choices to your Vision Board and your life in the next five years. Know basics of budgeting and future needs.



Engagement: early American Courtship Customs (definitions)

Chaperone, courtship, bundling, commitment in writing, taboos, parlours

Customs today, and where they started.

Marriage: Chapter 9; questions, theories of attraction

Theory of Similarity (you’ll find someone with things in common)

Theory of Complimentary (Opposites Attract)

Theory of Exchange (You find things in the other you need...ex an organized person helps a disorganized one)

Ideal Other (your Dream Guy, or Girl)

(Be able to explain these four in who you would be looking for as a future mate)
