Learning Journal #1: Telegraph Journal article, "Teenager facing charges banned from Hartland" Questions due: Friday, April 16
DUE TODAY: Photo Essay. (not passed in Thursday, Homework Hour)
in class today, we looked at Saltscapes article on The Corner Store, sample of a Photo Essay. Question sheet discussed in class, paragraphs due Friday.
Camera Comparisons: We are researching digital cameras online, and creating a chart to compare qualities. 3 Point and Shoot, 2 SLR ... evaluate at least 8 characteristics, including price, accessories, memory card, etc.
We will go over this as a class on Thursday, and look at how to research.
BONUS Assignment: due Wed. April 21:
PINK DAY: submit a photo and news article about Pink Day movement and Anti-Bullying.
5 % direct to report card.

MEDIA STUDIES 120

Welcome to Part 2, Semester 1! It's good to be back, and good to see all your smiling faces ON TIME for class! :o)
Right now, we are working on the Photo Essay assignment: DUE DATE: Wednesday, APRIL 14.
I will give work periods until Friday for you and your partner to take all your photos. EACH STUDENT is responsible for submitting a photo essay, but each group can collect pictures together, due to limited cameras. Monday and Tuesday will be spent organizing your photos on your Flickr account, and presentations to the class to be given on Wednesday.

ANY outstanding work on the homework blog will be accepted up until this Friday...all names have been removed from the homework Hour blog for a fresh start, so it is totally up to you!
