Check out your marks online!

We tried to get everyone registered today, so if you still didn't get in, it is easy to do.
Log into the above, and on the right you will see a tab to either LOG IN, or to SIGN UP.
The site is secured with individual passwords and user names, and you will be able to see how many days you are absent, what your up-to-date marks are, assignment details, and what assignments you are missing. You can also message me if you have a question about the marks, or attendance.
Over March Break, I'll post your test scores, so keep checking in.

Interview a trusted adult; come up with 10-15 things that are impotant to them, create a similar list for yourself; Compare and Contrast outlook of youth and adults in our community.

Family Living 120 Feb 16-20

What a week!
We have been working in groups on PSYCHOLOGISTS and their theories on behavior. Some of it will help us understand our own behaviour, others will help us realize how much the society at the time influences it.
Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday: group work on assigned Psychologist
Tuesday afternoon: First Community Guest: TREENA MERSEREAU, GM Community Programs. * tranferrable skills, benefits vs work happiness.
Thursday STORM DAY! I missed you guys! (ok, maybe not that much!! Dalton was excited, because it was his birthday, so we enjoyed the day!)
Friday: test is rescheduled for next TUESDAY, FEB 24th.
Make sure you get the notes on Freud, Adler and WH Sheldon.
We started test review, I'll give you a photocopy on Monday.

I'm BACKKK!!!!!

Good to see everyone; I missed you guys!
Today we looked at TYPES of Families...thanks to Mrs. Wetzel and Mrs. Jones for letting us come visit their classes, where we got a younger perspective on what makes up a family.
NOTES: on definitions and types; we did an inclass survey
VISION BOARDS to be presented tomorrow, or you have homework lunch (since they were due on Friday, you got a break!)

Honest, my goal is to see you all on Monday!
You should have finished definitions (Family of Orientation, etc), questions from page 79, 80.
We were supposed to have a quiz Thursday, but I will wait until TUESDAY...I still have a couple of things I want to cover. We may even wait and just put it all on a test for next Thursday.
DON'T FORGET...we actually have School next Friday, the 13th...Teacher PD day has been rescheduled until later.

Family Living week of Feb 2

WOW! Another storm day!
I missed everyone yesterday, while I was home with this cold mess. Hope to see everyone again on Thursday!
MONDAY...you had notes on Family Life Cycle....and a diagram. Know these for upcoming quiz (changed to FRIDAY).
TUESDAY...working on VISION BOARD project (due Friday). Don't forget the Learning Journal assignment that goes with this.
THURSDAY...notes Functions of the Family and Types of Family (quiz material)

Be sure to check the side Bulletin Board folder for work when you are absent. I will keep sheets , etc there, but YOU will still be responsible for getting the notes from someone.
