STRESSED?!!!

Of course! It's pretty natural in high school to feel stressed, especially if you are in grade 12.
This week we have looked at different kinds of stress, and Triggers.
Wednesday: Stress Free! RAK bags...feel free to drop some RAKS in our class bags by Friday!
Thursday: NOTES...Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Phobias.
Friday: Stress in the Workplace: Questions
TUESDAY...I will be collecting notebooks: Qs from Chapter 6 (Conflict, Catastrophes)
Notes, and Stress in W-place Questions

LEARNING JOURNAL #4 was due Wednesday...Do I have YOURS?

March 20

Thursday: We looked at Emotions, Stress, and TRIGGERS. Started workbooklet on same.
LJ #3: EITHER summary and reflection of NBCC tour OR Summer employment activity from Access Center (Tuesday)
Friday: Stress Indexes (family and individual), Centering, and 4 questions that we'll look at on Monday.

You have a midterm on MONDAY??!!

Friday, I gave all students a print out of present marks and missing assignments.
After Wednesday, I will not accept any more assignments for this term.

MIDTERM!!

Monday, March 16th.... bring a piece of looseleaf, pen/pencil. (GREAT HALL)
Amazing how many of you feel you can come to class "prepared" without a pen!!!
It has cost some of you classmarks.
Your midterm in on Monday: I will be away, but I am not worried about it- you'll do fine, IF you have studied from your notes on the guest speakers and your last test. (see Test review in an earlier post-- just add on guest speakers- Teen Pregnancy, GM Community Programs and Suicide Awareness)

TUESDAY...I have left an assignment on summer jobs; complete and pass in the worksheet.
Those travelling to NBCC...be at the ticket office for 7 am. Bring a pen, I will have an assignment sheet for you! Don't forget to wear your GREEN ...prizes from NBCC!!
Lunch provided; just need $$ for on the ferry.
IF you can not come last minute, please email me or call me, since I won't be in school Monday.
